These gold flatware sets are fit for a queen!
Dine in style with fancy gold flatware.
Make your kitchen fit for a king! When it comes to formal dining, nothing says luxury quite like gold utensils. After all, this pretty precious metal has long been associated with royalty and riches.
Fortunately for us common folk, there are several affordable stainless steel flatware sets that include gold plating or embellishments. I compiled a list of top-quality gold flatware that won’t break the bank!
Best gold flatware sets that are elegant, elevated, and all under $100:
1. My new matte gold flatware set is chic, yet affordable.
This economical 18/0 stainless steel flatware accommodates up to 6 place settings and it’s a perfect option for those on a budget. I recently scooped up a set for less than $50 on Amazon and I can’t wait to use it during the holidays. The utensils are sturdy and come with a gold-polished satin finish. I really love how modern they look. The set has long thin handles and delicate (yet sharp) knives. I eat soup almost every day and I think these wide, circular spoons are perfect.
I’ve had the set for a little over a month and I really wanted to test it out before recommending it.
I’ve been eating with the utensils daily and have tested both handwashing them and running them through the dishwasher. So far, they look pretty much the same as when they arrived. Though the manufacturer deems this flatware dishwasher safe, I think it is best to handwash them when possible so they stay in great condition.
I really love this flatware and as of right now my only complaint is the packaging. The set comes in a rectangular box and though each utensil is individually wrapped in plastic, there is no padding or separation between the pieces. As a result, a few of my utensils arrived slightly scuffed. That wasn’t a huge deal to me but I know some consumers may take issue with it.
Regardless, the pieces look beautiful on my table and so far the color hasn’t faded. I expect the color to hold up as I only plan to use the set primarily for special occasions. For my needs, these utensils are perfect. Some gold sets can cost hundreds or thousands of dollars and I can’t justify that price for a set I use infrequently. For under $50, I was pleased with the quality and I can’t wait to treat my guests to this fancy flatware during the holidays!
“These are very nice sets I have the gold color. So far so good! I’ve cleaned them a few times and they’re still beautiful. I like heavily weighted materials and this doesn’t disappoint!” – Stephanie

With the thinner handles, I wasn’t sure how they would feel in the hands, but it was completely comfortable and I had no problems with it. The gold was a perfect color; not too shiny, not too matte and not too brassy. Love them!” – J. Angle, product reviewer
