I use these for my kid’s lunches on cold days. I followed another user’s advice and pre-warmed them with boiling water for 10 minutes before adding whatever hot food I put in. I have done soup, pasta, orange chicken, pizza slices, and rice. Both of my kids say the food is still warm at lunchtime 4.5 hours later. They have never leaked. My 10-year-old has no problem opening it. 

Keeps my husband’s lunch warm when he works 10-12 hour shifts and only gets a 15-minute break! He doesn’t have time to grab food or heat anything up. This keeps his lunch warm until he gets a chance to eat. I rinse the inside with really hot water before I fill it up with food. It holds a surprising amount of food that ends up being the perfect portion. Plus, it is easy to clean and never leaks!
