No matter which smart thermostat you’re looking for, Google Nest Thermostats are top-quality. They are programmable with wifi, and you can even connect them to your Amazon Alexa or Google account and control them with your voice.

“I bought this when it went on sale and also discovered that PG&E offers a $50 rebate. This made it a no-brainer to replace the lousy Honeywell thermostat I’ve been wanting to replace for a while.

It works well, was easy to install, and does a better job than the Honeywell it replaced. No issues with Wifi connection or app servers being flaky or down. I like that it also has trends showing how long it runs during each day, a nice addition would be temperature and humidity trends too.”‘

Definitely go straight to your energy providers marketplace and check there first. In my area a nest one very similar, costs nothing at all and doesn’t require it to be enrolled in any of their energy programs either.
