The Turkish cotton blanket is a nice light-weight blanket. You can use it as a coverup on the couch. Great for those cooler evenings or mornings. We have a larger bedroom so added a small loveseat to the room to use for reading, etc. Sitting on the couch, sometimes it gets a bit cool in the mornings. So I leave the throw blanket draped on the couch and use it as needed. Goes well with earth tones like my beige couch. The tassels add a sense of style and flair to an otherwise potentially boring blanket so it becomes a decoration accessory to the couch when not in use. Overall, a good throw. But not for mid-winter freezing days.
