Not only does this look nice in my home, but it also works extremely well. I found the setup to be super simple and once I had it filled and turned on, it only took a few seconds to begin dispensing a fine mist. I added some essential oil to the little pad and it keeps the room smelling nice as well. The humidity has greatly helped my wife’s breathing issues, as we live in a very dry area. I placed it near our indoor plants and they seem to have really perked up after a week of use. The water reservoir is nice and big, it’s quiet, and it works well!
This Homemedics ultrasound humidifier is really impressive. It puts out more mist than any humidifier I’ve ever owned, and I have gone through numerous ones. It is extremely quiet I can hardly hear it on, has adjustable settings and a little tab at the bottom to insert a few drops of essential oil if desired. I love the large capacity tank and love how it looks, stylish and classy. This is definitely a keeper, it has helped me breathe so much better at night.
If anyone has this, how is cleaning it? I had one before that was next to impossible to clean and then o felt like it was sending dirty, moldy air back into the house so I just tossed it. I love the look of this but don’t want to end up tossing this too because it’s too hard to clean. TIA
Hi there, CJ! I own this humidifier and it’s pretty easy to clean! I’ve had it for over a year and there is no mold or buildup inside the unit! I let it soak with diluted vinegar then brush the inside with a toothbrush. It’s SUPER easy to take apart and access the inside! I know what you mean about having to toss one, I replaced our old Vicks model with this one and I am so happy I did!
