I love this printer. It was super easy to set up, you can print, scan and copy with this printer and everything I print looks great, there is an app that you can control everything through, and best of all, it comes with the HP Instant Ink subscription which is awesome because you never have to run out of ink. I love that there are different plans you can choose from depending on your printing usage and now you can have printer paper added to your plan if you want. I most definitely recommend this printer for anybody who is looking for a printer that can handle everyday functions and print quality stuff.
Set up was very easy with this printer, much easier than any other printer I’ve had. Installing ink was a breeze. It works great so far, I’ve had no complaints. It scans and copies with ease and is fast. I’ve never had a problem connecting over Wi-Fi like my last printer. I love the convenience of getting ink when it’s running low without me having to worry about running out. This is a huge advantage over any other printer I’ve ever had.
Is the ink free for 12 months?
Hey franny5! I found this in the product details on the Instant Ink offer for you – “12 free months of Instant Ink subscription when you activate HP+ – Print up to 700 pages a month. Ink ships to you automatically so you never run out. After 12 months, monthly fee applies unless cancelled, and you’ll save up to 50% on ink.” Hoping this helps! ❤️
Any idea if you can still get the 12 months of ink if you already have an instant ink account on another printer? Our printer is getting old and we are looking to replace.
Hey Lindsey! Great question! I spoke with HP Instant Ink’s customer service on this and here’s the answer I received – “once you set up your printer and add it to your Instant Ink account, the 12 months will automatically apply.” In my search, I did come across some help articles of others asking similar questions, and it seems that they were able to send a screenshot or receipt to support and also get their trial offer (in this case, the 12 months) added to their account, if it was not done automatically. If you’d like to contact HP and follow-up with your account number to be sure, here’s their phone number for you – 1-855-785-2777. Hoping this might be helpful! ❤️
Get the Epson eco tank. It’s amazing. No cartridges, just bottles of ink you pour into unit..but hardly uses ink compared to ink jet cartridges printers. Got mine at Costco a few yrs back.
I bought this printer and it stopped working when I had to replace the original ink cartridges. I spent hours on the phone with them. They sent another printer and the same thing happened with it. Again, I spent hours on the phone with IT and ending up sending both printers back . Absolutely not worth the frustration!
Oh bummer! SO sorry to hear you had to send this one back twice. That does sound frustrating. ❤️ Thanks so much for letting us know about your experience, Michille. 💞
Thank you for sharing your experience with the printer Michille.
Do some serious research on HP+ before buying any printer with this service. Don’t activate it before you read up on what you are doing. I wish I had.
Thanks for the heads up! I’ll be looking into this! 💕
I had an HP Envy (not this particular printer) and LOVED it – and also LOVED the InstantInk plan! That plan worked very well for me. I printed about 120 pages per month for work. I recently donated the printer because I moved and didn’t have room for it in the U-Haul. Otherwise, I definitely would’ve kept it.
We bought this on Christmas. Took it back the next day, had a software problem with it, could not install the software from their website.
Oh bummer! Sorry there was an issue with the software. So glad you could return it. Thank for letting us know the troubles you encountered. ❤️
