The Automower is a high-cut, compact mower suited for small to medium-sized lawns up to 0.4 acres. It’s 4G connected and packed with cool features.
You can control scheduling, adjust the settings, and start and stop your robotic lawn mower right from your smartphone. It’s even equipped with an alarm to protect against theft.
This Husqvarna Automower is outfitted with 3 razor-like carbon steel blades that are designed to cut a little grass at a time, but frequently. The tiny clippings are then recycled into the turf as a natural fertilizer to naturally create a healthier lawn over time.
It’s also electric, so you don’t have to worry about filling it with gas or oil, nor does it emit any harmful fumes. And it’s smart enough to return to the charging base on its own when it needs more power.
Built with safety in mind, the blades instantly stop and retract inward as soon as the mower is lifted, or an object is detected thanks to built-in collision sensors.
Plus, the biggest advantage of owning a robotic lawnmower is all the time you can reclaim by not having to mow your lawn regularly. Those extra hours can really add up over time and that my friends, is priceless!
These reviewers think the Automower is a worthy investment…
I am nearly 1 year in with my 115H Automower on my .5acre yard. This machine easily handles the entire yard cutting 10-11 hours at night. No maintenance except for washing down with a hose periodically, it has easily saved me 2 hours a week and is convenient. 10/10 recommend the product! *Writing this review in 90+ degree day with my 115H cutting my yard while I sit in my air-conditioned house*
Purchased the 115H Automower as a Christmas gift for my wife…we installed the cable and educated ourselves about the mower in doing so. We and our neighbors are shocked as to how well it keeps our grass groomed…they are all envious. It has become my wife’s new pet and has been mowing our lawn all summer doing a great job! All this makes me very happy!
I’ve had my mower for 2 years now at home and I absolutely love it. I’m a golf course superintendent and I have also started to use Husqvarna robotics mowers on the course. We have been renovating some golf holes and I use them on the growing. It’s unbelievable to see how it established fast and more healthy when I use the auto mowers.
Maybe a stupid question, but how do you keep it inside your yard?
Great question! It seems this has “GPS Assisted Navigation”. I did find this in the details – “Seamless connectivity allows you to control the smart lawn mower from your smartphone with the Automower Connect app.”
I found this as well – “Set up the Automower 115H with the self-installation kit (included); place the charging station, lay the boundary wire, and install the guide wire”
Hope that helps! ❤️
SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SANITY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE. I would avoid this one or get a new better model. I purchased this for my parents, to avoid the landscaper during Covid.
They barely have 3 full months of summer each year and are by the COAST, so the grass doesn’t grow much anyways. It was to be used on their front yard, which is maybe .4 acres. It’s a small area with some flowers on one side, a cross way with one cherry blossom tree on the other side. The grass is your average northeast grass. This is to give you an idea of how EASY this should have worked. The way the machine, stays inside your yard is by you installing “wires” around the perimeter of your yard. It’s ugly and troublesome. The app used to crash all the time and disconnect the machine.
I paid for their “professional installers”. They did a horrible job on the housing for the unit and the wire’s, which are glued to the perimeter of your yard. It lasted TWO SUMMERS, actually 1 1/2 because I had to pay a normal handyman to come fix it, several times.
This summer, which would have been its third summer, it stopped working completely and guess what? The extra two years of warranty that I had purchased, started counting down the same day it was registered, it had not even, been delivered to my parents yet. It’s a nice paperweight now. It was never left outside during the rain or snow.
Their customer service is horrible, they will try to blame you for not knowing how to use technology. Guess, what I do for a living? They will put you on hold for ever while they google answers , or hoping that you will hang up, because you are tired of waiting. However, when you don’t, they will hang up on you. This is the CSR’s that actually speak English, most didn’t and the ones that did, you could barely understand it.
It was a useless machine and a complete waste of money. I get angry every time, I see the commercials for it.
Thanks! Are there any deals on the Automower blade refills?
You’re welcome, mary! I’m not currently seeing any deals on the blades, but when clicking through the link in the post and scrolling down, I did spot a 6-pack of the blades for $24.99. Hoping this is helpful! ❤️
You have to install guide wire around your property boundaries as well as around any flower beds or other areas that you don’t want mowed. The mower won’t cross the wire. It also uses this wire to find it’s way back to the charging station. I believe they offer professional installation with a special tool or you can self-install. There are videos on YouTube on how to do it. I don’t have one of these, but seriously looking at that discount!
Thanks a bunch for your helpful comment! 💞🙌 Good to know how this works with the guide wire!
