Those clips can easily get snagged and open. A friend gave me one for my keys and when I was in the grocery store it caught on a shelf & flipped the key off. Couldn’t find it anywhere so I had to pay for a cab home and a tow (I couldn’t climb high enough for the tow), then a couple hundred to have the keys made with a mobile locksmith. Finally about 3 days later the store had a bunch in doing a deep clean and found them in a drain. I think God I had enough money to pay for it all. I’ve got them snag before. But never that bad. Now I put them all on one key chain then connect it to the clip. That way if it happens again it’s got enough on it that if it gets snagged it can’t get lost.
