On the fence? Here are a couple of great reviews…
I needed smoke alarms and a carbon monoxide monitor for a rent house. I decided that these combination alarms/monitors would be better. I read many reviews and considered several brands before choosing these. I am very happy with how easily they installed. Just two quick drills and screws in the walls and they fit right on. We did test each before installing and WOW they are as loud as I could tolerate. Abut 85 decibels and you could hear each one from anywhere in the house. I liked them so well, I’m putting them in my house, too. So, yes, I’d buy them again.
Kidde has really outdone themselves with this combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector. First, no more searching for those 9 volt batteries; this takes 2 AA batteries! Even more impressive is the fact that the battery compartment is on the front of the detector!! Brilliant design. Testing the device not only sounded that high-pitched earth-shattering alarm but there are different alarms for smoke vs CO and a voice that indicates why the alarm is going off. Highly recommend!
