My kids are aged 15 months to 6 and each of my kids like hanging climbing and playing inside of it. I like that it allows them to be somewhat physical with the climber but also use their imagination and use the inside as a capsule for going to outer space or a boat. They lay blankets over top to make forts. Putting it together took me about an hour. It was pretty easy.
