I usually don’t write reviews for such simple products, but my girlfriend and I purchased this a few weeks back. When it showed up, the design was laughed about. It was hard to believe I bought a pizza cutter with no handle! When I used it, though… it was fantastic and made sense! It works unbelievably well and opens so easily for cleaning that it makes it hard to believe that other pizza cutters exist!
This pizza cutter is much easier to use than our traditional cutter. Having your hand directly over the blade feels a lot more comfortable and you don’t feel like the blade is wobbly like a traditional one. The blade is easy to remove and clean. I didn’t notice the blade being much sharper than my old cutter, but it is sharp enough.
Our long-time pizza cutter broke after probably a decade of dedicated service. My husband bought a pizza cutter with a HUGE cutting wheel and it was terrible, so I ordered this Kitchy Pizza Cutter Wheel because I suspected it would give me the biomechanical advantage necessary to cut pizza and the other things I use a pizza cutter for.
I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED — this gadget is awesome. It is sharp. It cuts well. And because your hand is right over the cutting part even we weaklings can make it work. Great on pizza, sandwiches, quesadillas and all the other things that are too big to eat whole.
