My kids love this game! We bought it to help my 5 and 7 year old with sight words. Since they are at different reading levels, I use one color for my older and another for my youngest. I read one word from each set and whoever gets it first wins that round. That way my oldest wasn’t winning every time.
This sight word game is well constructed and durable. It has thick cardboard discs for the “alien cards” (the sight words) that are double sided. They are color coded by levels: pre-primer, primer, first grade, second grade and third grade. The silicone space ships that you use to suction cup the words are durable and actually do stick to the cards. The kids love to slam the cards with them and have it suction it up!

My LO loves this. It has easier words and harder words so it’s good for pre-k to second grade. It’s very simple and fun. We play this at least once a week.
If you think your child would love this, get it. Prices will go up. The CEO/owner of Learning Resources was on 60 Minutes 4-5 Sundays ago discussing what the supply chain situation has done to his company. He said he’s being charged $1 million for product sitting in containers at port – “storage fees” because no one is moving it. He directly said prices on product will go up. The segment showed the whole cycle of why the situation is failing and what it it’s doing to individuals and companies like his with product. It was eye opening and explained all aspects of the cycle. I actually felt bad for the guy and the smaller business people mentioned. It forced my work to order materials from another company because of product stock issues. So if you see a good deal and it’s in stock, grab it.
