I’ve been trying to get away from plastic for storage, but for some things plastic just works better. These containers close nice and tight, keepin the contents fresh, and they are light weight. They are well made. I have some that I’ve been using for more than a decade. I’ve purchased a number of glass container with the same type of closures as these and have had problems getting them to close properly. Never had that problem with these. Also, since I’m older and have arthritis, lifting a filled container of this size in glass can be a bit tricky. I use glass as much as possible, but, in this case, I’ll stick with the plastic.
