What are these free Lowe’s Kids Workshops?

These workshops are designed to help your little ones learn DIY! These fun projects from Lowe’s Build and Grow Workshops are made so that both boys and girls (and maybe the adults, too) can enjoy them! The kits are designed for kiddos 4 years old or older, but even younger siblings are able to join in on the fun with a little parental help.

Considering one of these? Our readers had some helpful info to share…

I have been attending monthly with my nieces and nephews and OMG they really look forward to doing these monthly. This will make month 7 and we are collecting our badges with our aprons and goggles. Kids range from 3-5 and I normally take about 4-5 with me. – Hip reader, Nativegirl08

Wow love that my kid can earn their own tool bag!! He is always digging into my husband’s so it’ll be fun for him to earn his own 🙂 – Hip reader, chenga57

These DIY crafts are great. Lowes has stickers on theirs. Good to learn how to read instructions, use a hammer and screwdriver and stick the stickers on. Our kid is 7. – Hip reader, Lpmousse

Does anyone know if this costs anything?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey there! This is a completely free kids workshop. ❤️

Well, I had to call the store to figure out how to register the kids for the next diy. I followed his directions as we spoke and I was not able to do it. Is there another way? Phone? In person?

Sorry to hear about the troubles with trying to get registered, Sandra. 💗 There only seems to be registration through their site for this workshop. If you’re on a mobile device, you might try switching to a desktop/laptop browser instead, as sometimes the pages load up a bit differently. 🤗 Hoping this might help –
      1. Click here to head to the registration page.
      2. Click the “Register Now” button
      3. Sign in with your Lowe’s account (or create a new one)
      4. It may pop up a “preferred” location or store, but you can also change to a different one by clicking “Change Store” and entering a new zip code.
      5. If your store has availability, time slots will refresh on the page of the store you’ve chosen to pick a time. On this same page, you’ll enter your details and then “Submit.”
