All, you have probably already heard this before, but I’ve been playing Madden since its inception in ’88. I’ve owned every version through the years. Madden has had its ups and downs without a doubt. In the last five years, EA and Madden had developed quite the contingency of hate, and some of it is warranted but not all. I really felt last year’s version was a solid step in the right direction, it still had bugs and franchise mode was horrible, but the feel of the game was much better.

Fast forward to this year’s release and one can tell they have completely revamped the gameplay on the field. Everything is more fluid, and realistic, from the blocking and pass protection (another plague from last year), the catching animations and YACs as well as the defensive side of the ball, I don’t see all the ridiculous interceptions for example. Yet the defense still plays well but can get beat depending on what you call (as it should be).

If you are looking for the gameplay itself, this version is possibly the best we have ever had, seriously. I know there are other areas that the community complains about, the presentation, MUT, Superstar Mode, and so on, I get it, nothing is perfect. But if you are looking for that gameplay NFL experience, Madden hit the mark this year. Don’t listen to the haters.

The modes they brought back are great like Superstar Mode, Franchise Mode and Ultimate Team Mode If you’re a Madden fan this year is for you!

Madden 24 is an improvement from last year’s game. The gameplay is smoother. The new passing system is easier to control, training camp is actually playable which makes a difference. The Franchise mode is a lot better, but room to grow. Remember EA Sports has to make a game every year because they are contracted by the NFL. Also, there are updates constantly improving the game, it is not a finished product. Lastly, Madden is improving!
