Check out this rave review…

This smoker/ grill/ griddle does not disappoint. I admire those guys who battle with temperature. I have used all three features on the grill. And yes, I have forgotten to take out the slides….. It happens and will happen. And I have run out of charcoal, my fault, I did not put enough in the first place.

Smoker…smoking at 225 is easy, mixing wood with charcoal is easy — set and forget it. Add your wood mixed with the charcoal and you won’t go wrong, bark is great and ring even better. But we all know we are in it for the flavor, the smoke flavor is there. I have done ribs and splatcock chicken with amazing flavor and color.

Grill: took a bit to figure out grilling temps, have done burgers and steaks, turn the heat up and they will be perfect. Don’t be scared to get the grill too hot.

Griddle: easy to use, somewhat easy to clean. I have done hashbrowns, bacon, and eggs, all at the same time, of course, you have to know when to put them on. One con about the griddle is that you have to change out the stack and the grate, which doesn’t leave anywhere to store the other grates. That is really the only drawback I see.

I talk with a buddy of mine that has a Trager and his only regret is that it doesn’t go high enough to sear steaks and things, this goes to 700 degrees. Plenty hot to sear whatever you want. My setup is on a small patio and it does not smoke you out or anything which is surprising.

Try these delicious nachos on your new grill!
