My almost 9-year-old son loved this little set! He was able to build both cars with very minimal help from me. He loves that there is a driver for the cars, and that the steering wheel and everything move well. The wheels are rubber and roll nicely on the floor or table when he plays with them.
He also initially thought that he would only be able to build one of the cars, so having two in the package was a pleasant surprise – one being more of a go-kart style and the other being a race car. This set would make a great gift.
