I just love these chunky puzzles! If they weren’t wrapped, and if I didn’t have to wait until Christmas to give it to my great-niece, I’d play with the pieces myself! The pieces are colorful and well-made, and the fact that they will stand up gives them more play value than just puzzle pieces. I heartily recommend these puzzles!
My 2-year-old enjoys showing me the shapes and naming the colors, making this her favorite puzzle. The colorful backdrop creates a lovely contrast to the primary colors of the puzzle pieces and their corresponding puzzle slots. Simply amazing!
The play value of these puzzles is out of sight! They are puzzles; they are zoo animals; they can stand up and be used for imaginative play; they can be used for increasing a little one’s vocabulary of animals, colors, and habitats. There is nothing negative about these at all!
