Every year, National Burrito Day is celebrated on the first Thursday of April. In 2025, this beloved handheld meal will celebrated on April 3rd!
Many chains will offer BOGO deals, so bring a friend, clear a spot in the fridge for leftovers, or just show up hungry! Check in with your favorite local Mexican restaurant, too, as they may be celebrating as well. 🌯

BOGO burritos from Baja Fresh
At Baja Fresh, you could get BOGO Burritos online or through the Baja Fresh app. To redeem this offer, you had to log in or create a Club Baja Rewards account and then enter a coupon code at checkout.
Free burrito from Bubbakoo’s
In honor of National Burrito Day 2024, Bubbakoo’s Burritos offered its loyalty members a buy one burrito, get one free deal at all locations nationwide. Once members purchased a regular burrito at full price, a coupon was automatically delivered to their loyalty account to redeem for a free burrito on a future date.
BOGO promo codes at Chipotle
Chipotle celebrated early in 2024 with its Burrito Vault Game. If you were one of the first 50,000 to guess the ingredients of a mystery burrito on April 2nd and 3rd, you could win one of 100,000 BOGO Free Chipotle Promo Codes!
Even if you weren’t one of the lucky winners, you could still score free delivery on your Chipotle order with a promo code at checkout.
BOGO burritos at Chronic Tacos
In honor of National Burrito Day 2024, all Chronic Tacos Loyalty Members received a BOGO Burrito offer via the Chronic Tacos App. The California Burrito & Surf & Turf Burrito were excluded from this offer.
BOGO burritos & more at El Pollo Loco
In 2024 El Pollo Loco offered four different National Burrito Day promotions leading up to the big day. Here’s the restaurant’s 2024 Burrito Block Party deal lineup:
- Monday, 4/1 – $0 Delivery Fee on all orders placed through the Loco Rewards app or ElPolloLoco.com
- Tuesday, 4/2 – $10 Bonus Card for every $50 eGift card purchased online
- Wednesday, 4/3 – Instagram followers could access exclusive redemption codes for free burritos or a % off a burrito purchase (valid 4/3 only).
- Thursday, 4/4 – Loco Rewards members received a BOGO burrito offer valid for 4/4 only.
$5 burrito from Farmer Boys
On National Burrito Day 2024, you could get a burrito for just $5 at Farmer Boys restaurants. This offer was valid from opening through 11 AM and was limited to two $5 burritos per customer.
Freebirds World Burrito had $6 burritos.
Freebirds celebrated National Burrito Day 2024 with $6 burritos! This price was valid in-store, online, or via the Freebirds app.
$1.99 burritos from Miguel’s Jr
On April 4th, 2024, Miguel’s Jr. offered Bean, Rice, and Cheese Burritos and classic Bean and Cheese Burritos for just $1.99 each. This offer was valid at all Miguel’s Jr. locations and online at MiguelsJr.com.
Moe’s Southwest Grill Rewards members got BOGO burritos and bowls.
On National Burrito Day 2024, Moe’s Southwest Grill offered buy one, get one free burritos and bowls when ordering online, in-store, or via the Moe’s Rewards App at participating locations nationwide.
One hundred guests also had the chance to win Free Burritos for a Year! Guests could enter by “checking-in” when they scanned their Moe Rewards account.
$5 off burritos at On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina
On April 4th, 2024, you could get $5 off On The Border’s burritos and chimichangas with promo code 5OFFBURRITO.
Free burrito with Qdoba purchase
On April 4th, 2024, Qdoba Rewards members got a free burrito with their in-restaurant purchase of an entrée and drink. This offer was loaded automatically in the Qdoba Rewards Wallet.
Rubio’s Coastal Grill had burritos for just $8.99
On April 4th, 2024, you could order multiple burritos for just $8.99 each at Rubio’s with this QR code. If ordering online or via the app, you could enter a promo code at checkout to claim the offer.
50% off a burrito at Taco Bell
On April 4th, 2024 only, Taco Bell Rewards members could add two burritos to their qualifying order to get one of them for 50% off. This offer was only valid when ordering via the Taco Bell mobile app.
Free burrito with purchase at Wienerschnitzel
On April 4th, 2024 you could get a free Chili Cheese Fries Burrito with any Wienerschnitzel purchase (in-store, online, or via the app).
Free Beef & Bean Burrito from Yesway or Allsup’s
On April 4th, 2024, you could buy one Allsup’s Beef & Bean Burrito from Yesway or Allsup’s and get one free. Only Yesway Allsup’s Rewards Member could redeem this offer.
McDonald has a free sausage burrito 🌯 if u order through their app
