It is not often that I sing the praises of a kitchen appliance, but y’all, I’ve been struggling to get my steaks to come off the grill just right for DECADES now. Enter a Ninja Foodi XL Grill. Holy carnivorous cuisines, Batman. It’s an electric tabletop appliance but I really can’t tell a difference in flavor or texture vs. a gas outdoor grill. But I can tell a difference in cooking. PERFECTION EVERY TIME. It can cook scalding hot and fast, but the temp probe will stop you every time before you burn your food, making for perfectly cooked steaks, salmon, and chicken… (my 3 favs) singed crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside.
