To get $5 in Paypal Rewards follow these steps:
- Head here and click “Spend $10+ get $5 (500 points) for Starbucks” under the “End-of-Year Deals – Finish Strong” section.
- Click “Log in to Save Offer”
- Head to Starbucks.com or their app to reload your existing card with $10 or buy a new $10 gift card and then checkout with PayPal (be sure PayPal is the payment method selected!)
- If you’re at a Starbucks store, choose Scan/Pay from your PayPal app to pay with a QR code.
- 500 points will be added to your Paypal Rewards balance for spending $10.
- You can redeem the points for $5 with the option to transfer to your bank, keep as cash in your Paypal account or get a shopping credit to apply to your next purchase.
To save $5 at Starbucks follow these steps:
- Head here and click on the Log in button, log into your Paypal account & save the offer
- Check your email inbox for an email with the Subject Line “You’ve got an offer to save $5.00 USD at Starbucks” from service@paypal.com
- Click on the See Offer Details button within email
- Head to Starbucks.com and reload your existing card with $10 or buy a new $10 gift card and then checkout with PayPal (be sure PayPal is the payment method selected!)
- If you’re at a Starbucks store, choose Scan/Pay from your PayPal app to pay with a QR code.
- Note that the $5 off discount will NOT show on your Starbucks receipt BUT a $5 discount will be applied on PayPal. You can double-check by logging into your account to view the transaction or wait to receive an email from Paypal with the transaction details.

Hmm. I’m not able to find the 500 points offer. When I click the link they all take me to the same $5 off $10 offer (which I used-Thank you!). Is the points offer still ongoing?
