I have a Weber grill on its last legs, and I am going to keep it as a permanent pizza oven thanks to this kit. It works great! I made three pizzas on it the first night. I used one chimney of charcoal and added three wood chunks prior to baking each pizza. Could have made three more using that method. The thermometer was reading around 800 degrees, and an infrared on the stone read a little over 600 degrees. I used about 8oz of dough per pizza and rolled them out thin to 10-12”.

Very impressed! This is so much better than my Camp Chef pizza cooker. I used my old 22″ Weber Kettle, and it is now the dedicated wood fire pizza cooker. The temps reached over 900 deg easily and probably stayed that hot for a couple of hours at least. The key is adding wood chunks to bring the temp up. We used pre-made crust which was simple and delicious at that. No need to mess with messy dough. I definitely recommend this pizza setup, you won’t regret paying under $70 for it!
