I really like how tiny this sound machine is, which makes it very easy to toss in my suitcase when traveling. I’ve used numerous smartphone apps in the past but wanted to try a dedicated machine and so far this little egg is really excellent.
It has a bunch of nice design features, the volume buttons in particular have a bunch of different volume steps and the volume doesn’t go up or down too quickly when adjusting it, which is great for dialing in the desired volume and shows they put a lot of thought into how the machine would be used. All of the buttons are easily accessible yet hidden on the bottom of the speaker and it sounds very good for what it’s designed to do.
I appreciate the 3 different timer settings and there’s a a fairly diverse selection of built-in sounds; I’m not missing any of the sounds I’d normally use and things like wind, crickets, ocean waves and rain are all present. It’s a solid-feeling little speaker too and is pleasant to use. It’s an excellent addition to my travel bag and well worth the price.
