I already owned some glass food storage containers and had spent a lot more money on them. So, when I saw these, I quickly grabbed them! They can be used to store various items, from small amounts of grated parmesan cheese or leftover ranch dressing to individual servings of meals or even a large salad for one person.
You can also save half of a pot of soup or chili for your family. The best part is that my food doesn’t spoil as quickly in glass. I’ve noticed this, especially with fresh fruits and vegetables. Strawberries used to go bad in just two days, but now I wash them, dry them, and put them in one of these containers, and they last a week or longer! Seriously, they’re the best, and I love them.
I have had this set for two years now, having received it as a Christmas gift, and I highly recommend it. There seems to be a size for just about everything, whether cooking in the microwave, serving prepared foods, or serving leftovers. The lids haven’t stretched out or warped and still fit tightly after many uses. This is an excellent price for what you get, making for a great gift for anyone’s kitchen.

I bought these the last time they were on sale (@ the same price). I love them, and use them every day to store food in the fridge, and as prep bowls if I’m making a recipe with more ingredients. The lids fit well, and the glass containers are more attractive than my previous plastic when taking food straight from fridge to the table. If storage space is an issue – these can “nest” to some extent for storage, but they do take up more storage space than many plastic sets designed to save space.
