We bought 10 bags of this sand for my grandaughter and poured them into an empty plastic wading pool in the backyard. She has a full set of beach toys but we live 2 hours away from the beach so she rarely got to use them. She loves it!!! This sand is very clean and easily brushes off skin and such when dry – just like at the beach.
We cover the wading pool with a tarp when not in use and it keeps leaves and such from mucking it up as well as rain and neighborhood cats! At first, we thought it was a little expensive – after all, it is just sand, but when we see how much fun all the kids have played in it – well you just can’t put a price on that!!!!!
I recently purchased a sandbox for my son who is autistic so we could spend more time playing outdoors and so he could enjoy some ‘sensory play.
