This 4K Roku Ultra LT offers private listening and a voice remote. Watch one of 200+ free channels at the speed of light! It’s a great upgrade from earlier Roku models and is a solid alternative to cable for anyone looking to become a cord-cutter.

We have a TCL Roku TV, an Express, and a Stick, all work really well. Got the Ultra with the price drop for the big screen to get the best picture. Picture quality is equal to the antenna and maybe better than the cable box. Had to return the first one due to channels dropping out. Easy replacement in the 30-day window with Walmart’s return setup. One tip in using this particular Roku. This remote is not an IR-based unit. Pointing the remote directly at the base unit seems to weaken the signal. Holding the remote near vertical, pointing at the ceiling, improves the remote operation quite a bit. I suspect the transmitter antenna is a flat panel on the circuit board and works better this way.
This is a nice streaming player. I used it to replace my earlier Roku 3, which died after about 6-7 years of use. The Roku Ultra LT 2019 has a great remote control, which can turn the TV on and off, and control the TV volume (as well as the mute capability). It was very easy to set up, needing only my WiFi password. You can skip the option to enter credit card information (for when you wish to purchase viewing opportunities over your streaming player). It is also nice in that it seems to “shut itself off” whereas my previous Roku 3 remained on constantly.
