I got this as a birthday gift for my nerdy husband who knows how to solve the traditional rubric cube too well. This gave him a nice challenge and he had to learn the methods to solve it which he very much enjoyed. He still solves it from time to time as just something to fidget with and the solution hasn’t become second nature to him yet although he’s had it since May and it’s now October.
I’d say it’s a cute and entertaining buy for kids or adults who enjoy tunic cubes but need more of a challenge. My two-year-old toddler throws it around all the time and the cube is not destroyed at all. Toddler proof 👍🏻
I really like the new and unique puzzles that Rubik’s is coming out with. They are interesting new takes with an old classic feel. This puzzle is fun and challenging and a completely different experience from the traditional cube. It is strong and sturdy, the pieces slide smoothly, and it is a good challenge to solve. Great to have around in the game mix. 5 stars!
