Hip Sidekick, Chelsey’s favorite treat was this Tengudo, Milk Mochi, that comes in an edible oblate ‘wrapper’! 😋

Chelsey also had to say about this box…

If you’re curious about which Japanese snack box to try, hands down, do this one! The flavors are so elevated and this box is filled with so many mochi delights, rare jellies, cookies, and specialty cakes– SO DELICIOUS! And, you get an exclusive dessert plate/ dish which is such a great value IMO. (My brother who has learned Japanese and studied in Korea immediately wanted to claim the dish for himself 😉 it was that pretty and looks so authentic!)

If you want to treat yourself to some quality Japanese treats, I would highly recommend this one and personally, would pay the full price of this box!

I bought this box for my boyfriend and he was beyond excited! Every snack has its own background and you really get to immerse yourself into Japan just by the snacks. The guide given in the box outlines aspects of where all the snacks are from and they focus on LOCALLY SOURCED snacks as well as local producers!! Best gift idea out there for anyone who is interested in Japanese culture.

I ordered a box as a surprise for my mum’s birthday as we both have always wanted to visit Japan! I absolutely loved the box, it was such a lovely experience with such a variety of both savory and sweet treats to try and they were all delicious! We also loved the booklet that came with it which described all of the treats you were given in the box and told you more about them. I would 100% recommend this!

In these boxes you don’t get just snacks, but a lesson about an ancient culture tied to all of us. Sakuraco give you a slice of of Japanese life and an education into the world we all share. I look forward to opening my box every month and expanding my worldview. There is something for everyone and I love to share my box with friends and family to bring us together, as loved ones, and as humans on the same planet as so many wonderful cultures! Thank you Sakuraco!
