It has a great display, 10.4″ is a perfect size for viewing in a campervan. It’s thin so it doesn’t take up a whole lot of room. I bought a case that came with a keyboard for times when we want to use it as a laptop. It is an amazing tablet we love it!!
A great 4K TV cheap. The only thing I don’t like is that you can only use the Bluetooth options on proprietary Roku devices.

I have been eyeing this exact tablet for a dedicated book reader. Kindle is not an option as those don’t allow epub format.
woops. The Galaxy Tab A7 is the 10 inch tablet. I am looking for a sale on theTab A7 lite which is an 8.7 inch tablet.
We just bought A7 lite tablets from Best Buy about 2 or 3 weeks ago. The 64GB tablets were on sale for $130. The price is up right now, but maybe they will go back on sale soon?

How do these compare to iPads? My mom had a very old iPad and was talking about needing a new one.
As someone who has owned both Apple and Samsung, I prefer Apple. I feel they’re more user friendly and if your mom is used to her iPad, I would probably stick with it. Either way, they’re both good products. ☺️
