Even sweeter, use it as an additional surface to wash produce, water plants, prep food, as a trivet for cooling down hot pans from the oven or stovetop, or thawing frozen foods. It can be rolled up for easy storage in a snap and is made with sturdy, rust-resistant stainless steel tubes and non-slip, waterproof food-grade silicone.

Our readers & team members love this drying rack! Check out why…

I have one of these drying racks and absolutely love it! We have a baby that takes a bottle. This rack is SO convenient for bottle parts. It’s not a one-trick pony and you can truly use it for so many things. It’s great to know that my family will never outgrow it even after our baby no longer needs bottles or sippy cups. – Hip Sidekick Nicole

I got this a month ago when you posted it – I LOVE IT. I got rid of the bulky drying rack on the counter. Now everyone is good about drying their dishes and putting them away since there is less room. There is enough room though. It is sleek, it is attractive, and it has made my kitchen look so much better!

I have a large one that I place over my open top-loader washing machine. It’s great for air drying my wool socks, as well as making extra clothes-folding space, without closing the lid and risking mold.

I use mine daily it’s a very practical item. I often set my colander on top to rinse off spaghetti noodles. I also keep a utensil strainer on it to hold washed silverware.

See why Lina loves it too… 😍

Finally a dish drying rack that I don’t have to scrub clean or gets smelly!

Tip: I use this rack for a few items I cannot / prefer not to wash in my dishwasher. 90%+ of my dirty dishes go in the dishwasher daily.
I keep this dish rack on my countertop with an IKEA HILDEGUN Dish towel under it. The dishtowel soaks up the water great, stays unbelievably dry and odor free even after a week or two of use. I eventually added the IKEA ORDNING Utensil holder to hold my silicone cooking utensils to dry on top of this dish rack.
I do not use it for plates as it would take up a lot of space on the rack and you cannot make the dishes stand up as in a regular dish rack.
When I’m going to have guests and want my countertop looking tidy, I just roll up the rack, hide it in a cabinet and throw the dish towel in the laundry hamper. Voila!
I will never spend my $$ on another bulky, hard to keep clean plastic dish rack =)

    What about plates and utensils?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Deb! I think for utensils, you might just set them on the rack the opposite direction so they don’t slip through the openings – and plates could be laid flat. There are some images on the reviews when clicking through of how others have used this rack for those items, if you’d like to check those out. Hoping this is helpful! 💓

I recently bought one of these a few weeks ago. I’m one that just lets dishes stack up in the sink and then lets them sit because it just seems like such a daunting task even though I know I should be washing as I go. With this rack and a little bit of extra discipline, everything gets washed daily now and put away before bed. It’s really been a relief knowing there’s no dirty dishes in the kitchen. I have mine placed over the left sink and next to the sink is a microwave cart. It holds everything I need it to. If I have plates I can sort of stand them up in the extra slots that lay on the countertop and lean them against the microwave. Cups and bowls sit fine and silverware I just place horizontally. Pots and pans get washed and I place them on the stove to dry. I put the traditional dish drainer in the basement just in case but I’ll be tossing it out now that I know this works better. Thanks!
