NEW Starbucks State Coffee Mugs, Tumblers, Bags & More!

Here is the latest news and the most recent deals on Starbucks reusable cups!

Starbucks is rolling out new mugs and merch as part of their Discovery Series with each of the 50 States on them!

You may have already seen other Discovery Series Starbucks mugs that feature large cities and Disney theme parks, but now you can find your home state and favorite travel location mugs too!

The Starbucks State mugs began releasing in mid-March and several can already be found including Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, Hawaii, California, Florida, and New York.

It appears Starbucks is releasing a new State mug every few days at participating locations nationwide.

Each mug features the name of the State and various hand-drawn, vibrant cultural images around the front and back of the mug. The green dot in the center references Starbucks’ iconic logo. Plus, there’s a Starbucks to-go cup hidden somewhere on each design!

The mugs are 14oz and are stackable. They come in nice boxes too, making them perfect to grab as souvenirs when traveling or for gifting!

More State-themed Starbucks items are coming soon…

The 14oz mug will be available in all participating Starbucks stores, but select locations will also be offering more State merch like a 24oz cold cup, 16oz stainless steel tumbler, and a packable travel tote!

Also, select licensed stores (located in grocery stores, airports, various retailers, and hospitals) may also carry an exclusive matching State ornament in the shape of a 2-ounce espresso cup.

Did you know you can use your reusable cups for drive-through and mobile orders now?

Starbucks now accepts personal cups in-store, at the drive-thru, and on mobile orders using the app. Bring your own cup and remove the lid before arrival. If you’re placing a mobile order, you can indicate you are bringing your cup by hitting the “Customization” button and selecting “Personal Cup” in the customization menu.

When you arrive at the store, you’ll meet up with the barista to give them your personal cup – sans lid. Your barista will exchange your cup with you using a contactless vessel.

Even sweeter, you’ll get 10¢ off your order for using a personal cup and Starbucks Rewards members will also score 25 Bonus Stars. Awesome!

Are you a Starbucks Rewards Member?

Starbucks Rewards Members can earn two stars for every $1 spent using a registered gift card or the Starbucks app. You can redeem your points at different levels for various items, including drinks, merchandise, food, and more! *Note that Star Redemption availability may vary by store.

If you’re lucky enough to accumulate 400 stars, use them to score a single merchandise item for free (up to $20 value) – so you could get one of these new reusable cups for free after stars!
