I donโt see anything about $150. From their website: โAnd get $50 back when you switch to T-Mobile 5G Home Internet via Prepaid Mastercard in 12 weeks. See below for full terms. Spots are limited!โ
Sorry for that confusion. We see that as well, however it should change to $150 once you submit your address. I’ve just added a note on this above. โค๏ธ๐ค Thanks so much for commenting!
Thank you!
You bet! ๐
What is the speed of this internet? All I have found is a vague “high-speed”.
Hi there! I’m finding it to list “T-MOBILE 5G HOME INTERNET”. I also found these details if more helpful.๐๐ค It seems it can vary by area.
“T-Mobile Home Internet service connects to the same great 4G LTE or 5G network T-Mobile smartphones run on, depending on signal availability at your eligible address.
You receive service through a 5G Gateway device (which combines the capabilities of a router and a modem), the Gateway device then converts the 5G signal to Wi-Fi, and provides a Wi-Fi signal accessible by all the devices in your home.”
Thanks. It’s seems that T-mobile’s internet speed comparison to AT&T or Spectrum is apples to oranges then? I must be missing something about it. Guess I’ll give T-mo a call to gain clarification.
Yes, it may be difficult to compare. Great idea to give them a call. Hoping they can help! ๐๐
As a tmobile customer, their service is often spotty in my home for cellular. Why would I want my home internet to have the same issue?
I had to switch providers for the same reason.
It helps a lot. Thank you!
You’re welcome! ๐ฅฐ
Hi I have Tmobile Internet in Vegas I just tested my speed it says 188.86 mbps ping 37 ms not sure what any of that means or if itโs good but I donโt seem to have any buffering issues when I watch tv so itโs been great as far as I can tell hope it helps or answers whatever you were wondering about ๐
Thank you so much for the helpful comment, Monique! ๐๐
I’ve heard if you have a gamer, forget it…
Is this something I could use while living in my RV this winter? I wonโt be traveling just posted up in a small RV park. I am trying to figure out the best option for 6 months while I am away from home without contracts. There is WI-FI in the rv park but itโs shared with everyone there so not sure what thatโs gonna be like!
Great question, Anita. You might try reaching out to customer service to see if that would work well for you in your RV. ๐ค Hoping they can help!
Yes, so long as there is T-Mobile cell service in the area. We unplug our T-Mobile internet box from our house and take it with us in our RV when weโre camping in a campground. ๐
Yes you can. You can even use it in the car while traveling as it works off cell towers. How good it works will depend mostly on your location. They also seem to give priority to cell phone users so sometimes it can be throttled.
I have T-Mobile wifi and it works great! I also got a deal at the time I signed up. I am very happy with the service!
Thanks for sharing your honest feedback on this service, Tonnie! ๐ค Glad to hear you’ve been pleased with it! ๐
I went through all the prompts with address, etc, the reward never changed. It stayed at $50.
Bummer! We’re seeing that now too, Laurie! ๐คโค๏ธ
Iโve had T-Mobile Internet since June. Very slow where I live. I switched because Spectrum needs upgrades in our area and refuses to do it. I would check with your neighbors before switching to T-Mobile.
So sorry to hear the service has been slow for you, Mitzi! ๐ค Great idea to check with neighbors to find out how service might be in other areas! ๐
Does the WIFI work with Magic jack?
Hi Merle! You could always reach out to customer service for additional details on their WIFI, to be certain. Hoping they might be able to help. โค๏ธโค๏ธ
We live in Oregon but own rental properties in Cedar Rapids, IA where hubby is from. We recently switched from the evil Mediacon (con thatโs right) to unlimited T-Mobile $50 a month at our Cedar Rapids property and have no issues.
That’s great, siena95! ๐ Great to hear the service has been reliable at your Iowa properties! โค๏ธ
