This puts out great heat. Our kitchen is on the north side of the wall in the old craftsman so can be a little drafty. This heats the kitchen up nicely.
I used this in my basement for supplemental heating when it gets cold. I like the oscillating feature so it spreads the heat out in a large area. I’ve been using it almost daily for 2 months and no issues so far.
I was doubtful about the ‘anti-tip’ feature, but they’re absolutely right. I have a two-year-old son who can be a brute of a little person, and even with his shaking and poking (while the unit was off, of course!), the heater wobbles and absorbs the shock and never once tipped over. My son’s room is too large for the two small HVAC vents to cover. When it drops below 32 outside, the heating tends not to be as effective in his room. This unit saved us from some cold winter nights and also saved us from some unnecessary discomfort and headaches. It was well worth the money.
