I work in a dirty, smelly tire factory. I come home covered head to toe in carbon black. I also wear specific black clothes to work everyday. Each day I get home I throw my clothes into a bin of water and OxiClean and let it soak throughout the week adding each days clothing to it. On wash day I will dump out that water squeeze out the excess rinse it a few times in the washing machine and then I will do a regular full load of just my work clothes.
The clothes will forever have the rubber smell in them and by the time my wash is done my washing machine is pretty smelly. I use one pouch of the washing machine cleaner after my load let the cycle complete I leave the door open to air dry. No one can even tell that I had gross clothes in there before! There’s also no smell or residue transfer to any clothes that I wash afterwards.
Totally impressed with how well this Tide Oxi Power cleaned and deoxidized my HE front load washer. Will continue to use going forward since they did such a nice job.
