Celebrate Veterans Day with free meals and sweet deals!

Veterans Day 2025 is Tuesday, November 11th, and many stores and restaurants will offer free meals and other discounts, freebies, and deals for veterans, active-duty military members, and their spouses!

Please note that in many cases, proof of military service will be required to claim these offers. We recommend calling ahead to make sure that your local restaurants and retailers are participating (and to verify their ID requirements).

Here’s a look at all the best Veterans Day free meals, deals, and other freebies that have been confirmed for 2025:

Save 10% in-store and online at Academy Sports.

All military and first responders get 10% off their in-store and online purchases at Academy Sports through November 11th, 2025. This discount is available to both members currently serving active duty and veterans from all five branches, plus the Reserves and National Guard.


Enjoy a free entrée at Applebee’s.

On Tuesday, November 11th, U.S. veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a FREE full-size entrée at participating Applebee’s restaurants (valid for dine-in only). Proof of military service is required.


Veterans eat free at Bombshells.

At all Texas and Colorado Bombshells Restaurant & Bar locations, veterans can enjoy a free entrée on Veterans Day 2025. Active servicemembers will receive a 20% discount on Veterans Day, too! Proof of service is required to receive these discounts.


Sit down to a free meal at Chili’s.

Chili’s is offering veterans and active military members a FREE meal on Veterans Day 2025. Service members can select a free entrée from the following choices: Chicken Crispers, Chili or Soup & Salad, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, or Oldtimer with Cheese.


Get BOGO entrees at Chipotle.

On Tuesday, November 11th, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. local time, guests who order an entrée in-restaurant and present a valid military ID will receive a second entrée for free. The offer is valid at all US Chipotle restaurants.


Stop by Cracker Barrel for a free breakfast.

All veterans and active-duty military personnel can stop by Cracker Barrel for a complimentary Sunrise Pancake Special on November 11th. This offer is valid for dine-in only, and proof of military service is required.


Get a free combo meal card from Freddy’s.

On November 11th, 2025, all Veterans and current military personnel can stop by Freddy’s to receive a free combo meal card – no purchase necessary! Cards are valid through December 31, 2025.


Golden Corral has free meals for veterans.

On Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11th, from 4 pm until close, all active U.S. service members, retired military, and veterans will receive a free “thank you” meal at Golden Corral. No purchase or military ID is required to receive the free meal.


Enjoy a free meal at The Greene Turtle

The Greene Turtle will honor veterans on November 11th with a free meal! A valid ID is required to claim your free meal up to $15 (valid for dine-in at select locations only).


Great Clips is giving free haircuts to veterans.

On Tuesday, November 11th, veterans and active service members can go into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut or a free haircut card for a future visit.

In addition, non-military customers who get a haircut on Veterans Day at Great Clips will also receive a free haircut card to give to an active service member or veteran they know. These cards can be redeemed for a free haircut through December 5th, 2025.


Veterans get a free menu item at Hooters with the purchase of a beverage.

On Veterans Day 2025, all retired and active-duty military personnel who present proof of service or a military ID can order a free entrée from the Hooters’ Veterans Day Menu with the purchase of a beverage. This offer is valid for dine-in only at participating Hooters locations.

The Veterans Day Menu includes four of Hooters’ select entrées:

  • 10 Original Wings
  • Cheeseburger
  • Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
  • Chicken Caesar Salad

Get up to $25 off an entrée at Kobé Japanese Steakhouse.

On November 11th, those with military ID or other proof of military service can receive up to $25 off a regular-priced entrée with the purchase of another full-priced entrée at Kobe Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse.


Grab a free Lunch Combo from Little Caesars

On Tuesday, November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., veterans and active military can enjoy a complimentary Lunch Combo, which includes four slices of Little Caesars’ signature Detroit-style Deep Dish pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi beverage.

No coupon is required to claim this offer, but proof of service, such as a military ID, DD-214 form, or a veteran designation on your ID card, is required.


Enjoy a free sandwich from Mission BBQ

Mission BBQ will give veterans a free sandwich on November 11th, 2025.


Free pork chop from Perry’s Steakhouse

On November 11th, Perry’s Steakhouse will be honoring veterans with two special dine-in offers. Veterans can choose from a free Dinner-Cut Pork Chop (when accompanied by a guest purchasing a dinner entrée) or a 3-course meal from Perry’s $39 Military Menu.

Military ID or proof of service is required.


Get a free Red’s Big Tavern Burger with Steak Fries at Red Robin.

Veterans and active duty service members can get a FREE Red’s Big Tavern Burger with Bottomless Steak Fries with proof of service on Veterans Day 2025 (dine-in only).


Save up to 30% on Samsung products

For a limited time, Veterans get up to 30% off Samsung products through Samsung’s WeSalute+ Member Store. To access this discount, veterans must follow these steps to create an account.


Grab free coffee at Starbucks.

On November 11th, veterans, active duty service members, and military spouses can enjoy a free 12oz Tall Hot or Iced Coffee at any participating Starbucks!

This free coffee offer is valid for café and drive-thru orders for those with proof of military service, and cannot be redeemed via the Starbucks App. There is a limit of one per customer, and add-ins are extra.


Get 10% off two separate purchases storewide at Target.

Target is offering veterans, military personnel, and their families a Circle offer for 10% off two storewide purchases through November 11th, 2025. This discount could be used twice, either in-store or online!


Free doughnut at Tim Hortons

Tim Hortons guests in a US military uniform or with a valid Veteran’s ID received a free classic donut at participating US Tim Hortons locations (not valid for digital orders, pick up, or delivery).


Save 10% at Tractor Supply Co.

At Tractor Supply Co., verified Hometown Heroes (military service members, veterans, and first responders) will receive a 10% discount on Tuesday, November 11th.


Enjoy a free meal at Wienerschnitzel.

On Tuesday, November 11th, all veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free Original Chili Dog, Small Fries, and Small Soda at participating Wienerschnitzel locations nationwide. This offer is available all day with a valid military ID or proof of service.


Free appetizer from Yard House

On Veterans Day 2025, veterans and active-duty military personnel will receive a FREE appetizer with a valid military ID. This offer is available for dine-in guests only, and no purchase is necessary.

    It would be nice if some had a special for those in a nursing home. A lot of them might not be here next year. I know there are several in the one hubby is in. One WW2 vet across the hall from him recently passed. But they can’t physically leave to get a treat. I obviously don’t look like his VA id. Lol! Maybe one of these places could pick a home & ask how many vets they have, then bring them in. Maybe an Uber or something like it would be willing to bring it for free & drop it off.
