If I have cash rewards and use them, do I get the RR…thanks

Perhaps someone who has tried that can respond but here is what I see looking at the ad on Walgreens.com. After each deal there is a symbol, in this case a double asterisk, you follow that symbol in the ad to see the terms and conditions. Here is the pertinent part copied and pasted:
** Only available on in-store purchases, excludes Pickup orders. Limit 1 Register Reward coupon per customer per offer. See coupon for terms, restrictions and expiration. Purchase requirement must be met in a single transaction, before taxes and after discounts, store credit and redemption dollars are applied.
So no likely not a good idea to use Walgreens Cash.
Also look carefully at the RR you receive and figure out whether you received a store coupon or a true manufacturer’s coupon. How you use it depends on what it really is. I hope it all works out for you.

I just tried this purchase at our local Walgreens. Unfortunately, it didn’t give me the Register Rewards. She handed me my receipt as well as a coupon (from the same Printer with the RR) for 20% a future (regular price purchase of $10 or more). I asked why it didn’t give me the RR since I purchased 2 and she told me that they have no control of that (which I believe). This has happened a few times over the last few months – I think I’m ready to be done with RR.

Aw, I am so sorry, Becki! That is very frustrating. If you have a minute, you can contact the Catalina Company, and they’ll send you the RR in the mail. 1-888-8COUPON is the number where you can reach them.
Normally, the only reasons it wouldn’t print is if the wrong items/sizes were purchased, catalina machine wasn’t working, or you paid for the items with the same RR – it doesn’t sound like any of that was the case for you so hopefully the Catalina company can hook you up.

Thank you for sharing this contact info. I will try them tomorrow.

Register Rewards are not my favorite thing and I’m not an expert on them but I will explain one thing that might help some people. Sometimes very different products are part of the SAME register reward deal. In this case the $4 register wyb2 reward covers: the Pampers jumbo packs, Crest or Oral B dental care, $4 the Dial body wash or bar soap, Garnier Whole blends, Gillette or Venus razors, $10. So you can still get $4 register rewards for each deal but they must be in separate transactions. Don’t try to use a $4 register reward say that you earned in the Garnier deal to purchase the Dial soap or you won’t earn another register reward. Why? Because they might be different products but it is the same register reward deal. Another reason I hate the new ad style with a passion. It used to be easy to see this. Now It is the devil.
