I have a question… Walgreens doesn’t accept coupons that are over the price of the item you are purchasing. Does that not apply to their digital coupons? I’d like to do the deals but don’t want the hassle at the register lol!

If you do it online for instore pickup it goes though just fine. I added the blink eye drops to get me over the $10 requirement. HTH

Their online system allows the coupon to be above the amount, but in my experience, the store registers will not allow it – whether it’s a printed/insert or digital coupon. When I find deals like this, I do the deal online and opt for free ship-to-store or free pick-up. Usually free ship-to-store works better since the stores end up with empty shelves with these hot deals.

This is one of the peculiarities of Walgreens. Walgreens never allows overage in coupons. In store you are exactly right the item has to be at least equal in value to the value of the coupon digital or paper. Online the digital coupon will scale down to the value of the item and result in no overage. So online a $3 coupon for a $2.99 item scales down to $2.99. Walgreens does not give you the penny. To make coupons work online there has to be a mechanism to scale when part of an order is cancelled. It all comes down to money for Walgreens but online the consumer does catch a small break.

Uggh not free at my store, they raised the prices

DARN! Thanks for sharing, Susan. I do still find them for $2.29 online as I click through the link above. Hope this helps!
