how to apply the manufacturers coupon on online order…. its not taking it

    • kdspark

You just click on it. It won’t apply till you have the qualifying amount

  2. kdspark

Goodness. 2 make up deals in one day ! Thanks!

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, kdspark! Glad you could score some savings on makeup! 🙌❤️

I would suggest folks check their Ibotta accounts too. I had Rimmel offers on Ibotta, $2 for eye, $2 for lip, and $2 for face products. Making this an even better deal.

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Sweet! Thanks for the heads up on those offers, L! 🤗

Walgreens didn’t give the receipt even I ask them at register. It happened twice for me and I can’t use the digital receipt for Ibotta😭 finally my money wasted once and second time I had to return my online order😩 Even if we ask the customer service to give the receipt printed in store no response. So if it’s online order with Ibotta then it’s luck only which depends on the store to give receipt 🙁

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Aw, I am so sorry, Dipthi. Getting them to check out at the register has worked for us as long as they don’t pull out that little handheld scanner. Their new checkout methods are sure making things more difficult.

Once the receipt has gone digital there is nothing anyone can do to get a cash register receipt; it’s in the cloud in the wrong format. From what I can tell from comments on WAGS forums it does vary from store to store and region to region. Here are the tips I know and that have worked for me. Make sure digital only receipts are turned off in your settings. This one is important— Do not signal to the store that you are on the way. Pick the older stores that are less likely to have the newer scanners. State up front that you need a receipt for Ibotta and want to be checked out on a cash register connected to a printer and not a hand held scanner. Talk to the different store managers until you find a store that is a good fit and can do this for you. It shouldn’t be that hard for you and I’m so sympathetic. Hope it gets better.

Walgreens Employee here. Once the transaction ends if the receipt does not print and is digital there is no way for us to reprint unfortunately, i dont know why walgreens does not give us that option. However if you have setup an account through either the app or the walgreens website then you can easily switch between paper and digital through the app, do so before your transaction and you should receive a printed receipt every time. Also if you are picking up an order, if you do curbside pickup, whether you get a paper receipt or not depends on the method the cashiers use to finalize your order, if they use a register and your account is set up for paper receipts then you will get a paper receipt, but if they use the wireless device to finalize the order then you will receive a digital receipt regardless of your accounts receipt setup. So i would suggest just picking up your curbside order inside to prevent receiving a digital receipt. Hope that helps clear some things.

Thanks so much for confirming this information, Alberto! We sure appreciate it! 🥰

I did this order exactly as it was posted previously with free shipping. Now I’m wondering if I will get the rebates back with the items shipped. H2S can you clarify? I swear it was posted on H2S with the items, coupons, free shipping code and rebates listed. I can’t find the post now. Where did it go?

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

We did have this posted with the free shipping offer a couple days ago. We just updated the post today to remove the free shipping since it was expired, and we added the new Ibotta offers. Ibotta needs in-store receipts so it will likely not work with shipped orders. However, you can try taking a picture of your receipt in your online account and submitting. I am in a few deal groups for Wags on FB, and some have had luck with that.

What about ordering through Ibotta with their online option? Does anyone know if it will catch the Rimmel products & give credits for them?

You will get 1% of your total purchase back and you must go through the Ibotta app to shop.

Ibotta rebate says it is only for Walmart on mine…doesn’t have any other stores

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Oh darn! I’m seeing the same thing now too, Lora. Ibotta offers may vary by location, or the offer for Walgreens may have ended. Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing in your account. 💗
