framed wall art in a bathroom

I bought one of these yard signs, then framed it and hung it on my bathroom wall – such an inexpensive way to get larger images printed out! I got the idea from Collin after she had some printed up to frame, too. You could even print different designs on each side, like holiday photos, so you’d be able to quickly change up the look with minimal effort. – Melinda, Hip Sidekick

Great idea, but is it easy to find an 18×24 mat with frame? Or, did you need to have custom framing?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

We have the frame pictured above, linked in the bottom of the post if that’s helpful! ❤️

      • Ande Hawks

Looked everywhere, can’t find the frame link

        • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Apologies for any frustrations, Ande. It’s in the blue box with Melinda’s review sharing more about the idea. Here’s that link too, if needed! 🥰

Got the yard signs to update pics on our wall! Happy with how they turned out. Thanks for sharing the deal!

Just trying to decide the best way to hang them since they’re double sided – don’t want to use 3M and have the adhesive ruin the second side…. The linked frame is cute, but not quite what I’m looking for. Anyone else have other suggestions? 😊

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome, Je! Hoping others might chime in with some other suggestions or frames to consider!

      • Jen

I ended up getting 3M command mini hooks and got our pictures up on the wall last night! They were just the right size! We’ll see if they hold, but it’s looks really nice! 😊

        • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing how you decided to hang yours, Jen! Hoping they hold up well! 💕

  3. Rebecca

Graduation season is approaching and these are a great way to celebrate.

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

I agree, Rebecca! I had a couple of these printed for my daughter’s graduation last year and they turned out great! ❤️🎓

  4. Connie

Are these nice enough to use on an easel for a baby shower.
Does it have the corrugated edges and can you see the corrugation lines on the sign itself?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Connie! I checked with Chelsey on this, and here’s what she shared – “I do think they’re nice enough to put on an easel for a baby shower! 🎀 They edges are corrugated (the holes are needed to stick the metal yard stake through), but you can’t see the lines on the image at all! Only if you turn to the side and for example look where the holes are for the stake.” Hoping this is helpful!

  5. Sharon

Your picture looks really clear. When enlarging one, does it get grainy looking?

    • Jessica (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Sharon! I don’t think they look grainy, but a lot can depend on the quality and resolution of the photo you’re uploading. Typically, the higher resolution the original image is, the better it’ll look when enlarged. Hope this helps! 💕

  6. Allison

Is everyone else’s yard sign look like a banner wrapped that they around the plastic/corrugated piece. That is what I got from my Walgreens when I ordered the yard sign. Meaning they don’t print it onto the plastic (which makes sense since they do it on store).

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for sharing how yours was printed, Allison. I ordered one of these last year for my daughter’s graduation, but it looks more like it was printed on instead of being wrapped like a banner. Sounds like this might vary depending on the location. 😊

    • Jennifer

I have had probably 30 yard signs printed at Walgreens over the last year. All mine are printed like a banner then wrapped over the top, and attached to the plastic panel with double stick tape strips. These live in my yard from 2 weeks to 2 months at a time and the images have stayed perfect. The only issue is if there is a lot of wind it will start bending the wire legs.

      • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks a bunch for the great review on how yours have turned out and held up, Jennifer! ❤️

    • Blaine

yes, ours was printed onto paper, wrapped over the top of the corrugated plastic and held in place with glue. It did not seem weather resistant and I had to put a plastic bag over it if it rained.
