I have a calming corner in my classroom where my students can go to when they are angry or sad and this makes all the difference. It’s a little heavy that brings a warm hug, yet light enough for 7-year-olds to hold on their own. My students love it, and so do I!
I highly recommend this for anyone that likes weighted things. My teenage daughter is autistic and has used a weighted blanket for years. She still loves stuffed animals and this is such a great addition to her collection. She immediately hugged it and slept with it last night.
