Yup, broke my toe when a weight got stuck!

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! So sorry that happened to you, Emily! Hoping you had a full and speedy recovery! 🤗

  2. Ker

    Wait, a prorated voucher??? 🤔

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Ker! Here’s more details I found on that when checking the recall information if helpful – ❤️

Customers who bought BowFlex 552 or 1090 dumbbells from April 23, 2024 through May 2025 (after Johnson Health Tech Retail, Inc. acquired select BowFlex assets from Nautilus) will be eligible to receive a replacement dumbbell (or set of dumbbells, if applicable) or a voucher equal to the full amount of the purchase price and a one-year complimentary subscription to our JRNY Fitness App. Learn more about the replacement dumbbell option — the BowFlex Results Series 552 and BowFlex Results Series 1090.

Customers who bought the recalled model dumbbells from Nautilus, Inc. before April 23, 2024 will be eligible to receive a prorated refund voucher to be put toward the purchase of products available on BowFlex.com and a one-year complimentary subscription to our JRNY Fitness App.

So I have been using my weights for years without a problem, and now it will cost me a small fortune to replace them. A one year digital subscription sounds like nothing more than a marketing ploy.

It also says you get a voucher equal to the full amount of the purchase price with the subscription but it sounds like a pain to go thru and I too have used mine without issue.

  4. Richard Fedder

Only I bought mine before 2024. So not a full voucher, and “pro-rated” is unclear. Do I get 10%? 20%? What is the formula?

    • Trish (Hip Sidekick)

Good question, Richard! I’m not finding those details when checking the FAQ section, but you can reach out to customer service at 800-209-3539. Hoping they might be able to assist you with this. 💗

looks like its just a set amount. I was offered $47 for mine I paid $175 in November of 2022 ( it did not even ask my purchase price). I played around with the numbers and it did not change unless I put the date after 2024. After 2024 you can get the full amount. The replacement product costs $429! What a joke!
