Everyone Keeps Asking: Is Dillard’s Bringing Back its Beloved New Year’s Day Clearance Sale for 2025?

If you’ve been eagerly waiting to learn whether Dillard’s will be hosting its annual New Year’s Sale, you’re not the only one! We’ve heard from so many readers hoping to hear the return of the popular sale.
In many years past, Dillard’s offered an extra 50% off clearance items on New Year’s Day which, as you can imagine, made for exceptional deals on TONS of name-brand and designer merchandise.
Unfortunately, Dillard’s seriously disappointed its shoppers when the store canceled its 2022 sale with only a few days’ notice. Since then, the sale has failed to materialize.
Sadly, it doesn’t look like Dillard’s epic New Year’s Day Sale will be returning to kick off 2025, either. We spoke with the Dillard’s customer service team, who confirmed that while Dillard’s has plenty of markdowns, they will not be offering the extra 50% off New Year’s Day sale again this year.
There’s been no official word from Dillard’s as to if the New Year’s Day Sale has officially gone away, but it’s not looking good that we’ll see it again in the future.

1. 50% Off Target Christmas Clearance Sale
Head over to Target to save up to 50% off during their Christmas Clearance sale. You’ll want to look in all the sections of the store (and online!) for things like beauty gift sets, holiday decor, apparel & slippers, candy, holiday-themed foods, and more.
2. Up to 75% Off Lowe’s Christmas Decor

I have a Dillard’s Credit card. I stop using it in March. The cards has no benefits for me anymore. I used to use my on $10 reward on Polo shirts, Levi, etc. The clearance is too high now not worth purchasing. I was waiting for them to close my card.
