Do you have any of these Mainstays fall candles?

Star Soap Candle has issued a voluntary recall of 1.2 million Mainstays candles due to the risk of fire and laceration.

This recall comes after receiving 12 reports of the candle burning too close to the side of the container causing the glass to crack resulting in one report of a minor cut, multiple reports of damage to nearby items, and one report of a fire.

This recall includes Mainstays 3-Wick Halloween and Fall candles in a glass jar with a metal lid and includes the following scents:

  • Jack-O-Lantern
  • Mystic Fog
  • Warm Apple Pie
  • Warm Fall Leaves
  • Fall Farm House
  • Pumpkin Spice
  • Magic Potion

These candles were sold exclusively at Walmart stores or Walmart.com from September 2022 through November 2022 for about $7.

If your candle looks like any of these candles, stop using it immediately. You should contact Star Soap Candle for a full refund at 1-800-680-2474 from 7AM to 6PM CT M-F or claim your refund online by heading here. Complete the registration form and you will receive a full refund.

    Filled out form…had to take pictures and mark up your candles. You don’t get back full amount for candles either…

    Hi Amber,
    Just wanted to let your readers know that my claim was denied-though accurate and requested photos were provided. This required a call to the claim center which took quite some time and still has not resolved the issue. This is a shame…
