10 Million Pounds of Meat Recalled in Products from Walmart, Trader Joe’s & More

Here are the details on the latest meat recall:

3 prepackaged chicken salads

If you haven’t heard yet, The Food and Drug Administration has announced the recall of approximately 10 million pounds of prepackaged meat and poultry distributed by BrucePac due to listeria contamination.

The affected products were produced between June 19, 2024, and October 8, 2024, and distributed to several grocery stores, such as Trader Joe’s, H-E-B, Walmart, and ALDI. The meat was widely used in premade dishes packaged and sold at these stores.

So far, there have been no reported cases of illness linked to the outbreak.

Consumers are urged not to serve or use these products – instead, they should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
