Have you heard about the newest rise in Netflix prices? 🤑

The Standard Plan has increased from $17.99 to $19.99/month. Meanwhile, the Premium Plan increased from $24.99 to $26.99/month.

These price hikes are intended to help support Netflix’s heavy investment in its content. This includes venturing into new territories like live events and podcasts. They’ve estimated they will spend $20 billion on content this year… that’s $2 billion more than in 2025. 🤯

2026 Netflix Price Hikes at a Glance:

  • Standard with Ads -> Increased from $7.99 to $8.99/month
  • Standard plan without Ads -> Increased from $17.99 to $19.99/month
  • Premium plan without Ads -> Increased from $24.99 to $26.99/month
NOTE: New Netflix members will see the updated plan prices effective as of March 26. If you are already a subscriber, your plan price won’t change right away… Netflix says current members will see the new rates roll out over the next few months, and you’ll get an email at least a month before the higher price hits your account.
Hip Tip:  You may want to with your phone carrier or internet provider for possible offers to save on your Netflix subscription as select providers offer free or discounted Netflix and bundled streaming offers with your plan.

What do you think of the recent price increases? Do you plan to keep Netflix as a streaming service or downgrade your plan? 🤔 We’d love to hear your thoughts!
