Pedigree Will Reimburse Your Dog Adoption Fees TODAY!
It’s Pedigree Shelter Sunday! Here’s what you need to know…
Adding a furry friend to the family today? Pedigree will cover their adoption fee!
Today, November 26th only, Pedigree is celebrating the 15th birthday of the Pedigree Foundation by hosting Shelter Sunday a one-day event where Pedigree will reimburse you for your dog adoption fees.
Pedigree hopes this incentive will inspire willing homes to welcome a new family member. 🐾
Here’s how to participate in Shelter Sunday…
To participate, adopt a dog at a local shelter or animal rescue today, November 26th. Then, head to Pedigree.com/ShelterSunday to submit an adoption receipt to Pedigree between November 28th, 2023 and December 22nd, 2023. You’ll also need to provide your email address, physical address, and dog’s name.
The event takes place nationwide and Pedigree is willing to reimburse up to $300,000 in adoption fees. You aren’t reimbursed for each pet you adopt so keep that in mind. Instead, each household is eligible for a single reimbursement of up to $200.
As Pedigree has a $300,000 cap, it’s best to submit your receipt as early as possible to ensure reimbursement!
Don’t forget to share your adoption story on social media…
The brand wants to spread awareness, and in their words, “turn one of the most shoppable weekends of the year into the most adoptable weekend of the year.”
In addition to recruiting advocates and influencers to help shine a spotlight on the issue, Pedigree is encouraging families like yours to share their adoption stories on social media using the #PEDIGREEAdopt.
According to the brand’s website, more than 6 million pets enter shelters every year and the number of stray pets arriving in shelters has increased by 26% since 2021.💔
Even if you are unable to adopt this year, Pedigree hopes animal lovers will join up with a local shelter to see if there are opportunities to volunteer or donate. You can also follow Pedigree on social media at @PEDIGREEUS.

This is awesome! Thank you for sharing this. I hope every animal finds a loving family and forever home 💕💕💕
You’re so very welcome! 🥰 We’re hoping for the same! 🤞🐾❤️
This is so sweet! So deserving of a forever home.
I agree, Callie! 🥰 🐾
Thanks for promoting this!! It hasn’t gotten as much news attention as it should, but there’s an overcapacity crisis at animal shelters across the country, especially with dogs. At the city shelter where I volunteer we have three times as many dogs as we normally do and had to open a second temporary shelter. If people can’t adopt, please consider fostering. Many shelters even want people to foster for just one week to help reduce capacity.
You’re very welcome, Lisa. Thank YOU for the work that you do and for sharing more information on it. Good to know! ❤️❤️
