Walt Disney World & Disneyland Theme Parks Raise Prices | Effective Immediately
The cost of a Disney vacation continues to rise…
Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts just increased the prices of virtually everything associated with a Disney vacation. This includes park tickets, annual passes, parking, food, photo passes, and more.
This news comes after both parks reported a decline in attendance and hotel occupancy, as consumers contend with record inflation. For a brief moment, it looked like a price decrease would be the solution, with Disneyland offering a limited-time deal on park tickets for kids ages 3-9 and Disney World set to reveal a similar deal in November.
But less than a week later, Disney is at it again, imposing price increases across virtually every category.
At Disney World in Orlando, price hikes will affect annual passes and parking. The price of an annual pass is now up by nearly 10%, with prices ranging from $439 to $1,449. Parking at WDW has also increased by $5 to a total of $30, with hotel guests still getting the benefit of free parking.
A bit of good news for Disney World guests is that the use of Park Hopper tickets will be allowed at any time of day (subject to capacity limits) beginning on January 9th, 2024. Currently, they can only be used after 2:00 PM, a rule has been in place since the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
At Disneyland, the cost of single-day and multiday admission tickets increased at every level except Tier 0, which held steady at $104. Every other ticket saw a price increase ranging between $5 and $65, with the cost of Tier 6 daily passes swelling to $194 (nearly a 9% increase).
The cost of Disneyland’s Magic Key pass, Genie+, and parking also increased.
“We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions and entertainment to our parks and, with our broad array of pricing options, the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer,” a Disney spokesperson told CNBC.
Full pricing information for Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, and Disneyland in Anaheim, CA can be found on each park’s website.

Do u have money-saving tips for Disney cruises?
Hey Kay! 🤗 There was a discount on cruises that popped up last year around November, but it seems that they are rare. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any future savings! 🤞❤️
Disney World offers park hopping now, but it doesn’t start until 2pm. In January, they will allow park hopping all day, which makes sense since they will also stop requiring park reservations at that time. You may want to verify that and edit the post because I was confused at the statement above that they will begin offering park hopper tickets in January.
Thanks so much for sharing this, Christy! 🤗 We’ll check into those details and update the post as needed.
Thank you for your comment, Christy! You are correct about the all-day park hopping, and I updated the wording to clarify those details. 😊
