Big News: Zulily is Returning Soon!
Zulily is making a comeback in 2024!
One of your favorite online retailers is back in the game.
Back in December, we reported Zulily was going out of business. The company’s sudden closure made many in the Hip community sad and upset. That’s why we’re eager to share that Zulily has been thrown a life raft and the company will return in 2024.
The executive chairman of Beyond, Marcus Lemonis, announced the news on X and the Zulily social media pages – both Facebook and Instagram – posted confirmation of the return as well! Beyond is the company formerly known as Overstock which acquired Bed, Bath, and Beyond and Lemonis himself has a history of reviving failing businesses.
In the past, Zulily offered some great prices for shoes, clothing, toys, and more so hopefully these same savings will continue in Zulily’s next era!
Fans seem excited, but some have a bone to pick with Zulily…
Patrons of Zulily are providing some mixed reactions. The company had abruptly gone out of business right during the holiday rush of 2023, resulting in designers suddenly being out of work. Meanwhile, customers reported having difficulty receiving their holiday orders.
Comments on Zulily’s social pages indicate some patrons still have negative feelings regarding the closure. The Zulily Instagram had a handful of comments about the women and small businesses that were negatively impacted by Zulily’s closure. Other patrons are still hoping to get a refund for the undelivered items ordered from Zulily during the holidays.
We’ll be keeping an eye out to see if Beyond and/or Marcus Lemonis address any of these concerns!

“Really hope @overstock plans to make the sellers that weren’t paid whole. They really hosed some largely woman-owned small businesses (right along with Jane in such a short timeframe). Surely @marcuslemonis knows how to do the right thing.”
“Are you gonna rehire all the people you laid off?”

I bought all my son’s clothes from them and most of mine. I loved the app and how they had everything set up. I looked every day. It was like losing an exciting part of my day. Wish it was sooner!
