We are excited to be outside more often this fall after a long hot summer living in Phoenix, AZ and these will be perfect for hiking around with our beloved standard poodle, Chewy! After all, he is his happiest and most excited when we all go for long walks and hikes as a family! 🙌
Here are the Arcadia Trail items from PetSmart I ordered for Chewy to try out!
1.) Arcadia Trail Lightweight Dog Collar
This dog collar is super durable and thick yet soft and light-weight. It adjusts to size, and I love the blue mountain design and overall outdoor aesthetic. There is a spot on the inside to write your contact info, however, we attached his metal personalized dog tag with our contact info to the metal D-ring, where you attach your dog’s leash.
2.) Arcadia Trail 2-in-1 Travel Water Bottle
This water bottle is so cleverly built and probably my favorite of these three products! The silicone lid flips up and you just press the button to release water for your pet, so they easily stay hydrated on the go (and it holds 27 oz. of cold water!).
The lid makes it much easier for your pet to drink like they would from a bowl. It’s so smart, functional, and is easy to clean!
3.) Arcadia Trail Expandable Backpack Harness
This is such a nice high-quality harness that doubles as a small pack with a couple of zippers for small storage like waste bags and treats! There is a D-ring to attach a leash, and I like how secure it feels when walking Chewy. He did really well with it and seems very comfortable while wearing this lightweight backpack harness.
The material is water-repellent and durable for the outdoors, and the webbing is reflective for safety at night. Overall, this is a great accessory that feels very sturdy and well-made.

I live in Phoenix and am displaced this year because of COVID. I have the cooling vest but didn’t need this year because it’s not so hot where I am right now, but will be handy next year when I get back home. I have the bright orange waterproof leash which is very nice. I use retractable leashes with my Jack Russell and that way he can run and get it all out of his system. It rains a lot and the webbing on the retractable leashes do get wet and you have to leave them extended until they dry. I like the idea of having a rubber leash for rainy days. My dog also has their bright blue rain coat and it’s really nice too. I wanted to get the backpack for my dog but I am not sure we’d use it. I have a collapsible bowl that clips onto my backpack and I carry enough water for both of us if we’re out and about.

I purchased this exact collar for my standard poodle. As soon as I got it the collar would not stay adjusted to his neck. Then the buckle suddenly will pop and the collar will drop from his neck. Even just in the house…not that if he were pulling would make it any more acceptable. After dealing with this for several weeks I researched and found this is the store brand. I will not got to pet smart any longer because of the quality they are manufacturing. Returning the collar is not an easy option as I’m 90min from the closest store. Also, reviews on the pet smart website are not favorable for this collar.

I had the same experience with the Arcadia Trails dog collar popping off my leash. It’s because of the strange-shaped aluminum ring attachment on the collar, shaped more like a soda can pop tab than the usual D-ring found on a collar (a full metal ring rather than a 3-sided one. It’s caused my dog’s collar to snap off the leash multiple times within a few months of use. I’ve just stopped using it and sent an email to Petsmart to complain.
Last weekend my dog sustained a serious eye injury requiring stitches under anesthesia, resulting from the poor design of the Arcadia Trail leash. Thankfully my dog will recover, but the whole situation was traumatic for my family and my pet. Thank you for emailing your concerns to the company. I’m in the process of researching the issue of this leash and plan to follow-up with the company as well.
TRIED ARCADIA TRAIL HARNESS AND IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS IT IS COMING APART. I,LL HAVE TO SEW IT TO MAKE LAST LONGER.

Hi there! What size Arcadia harness did you get your dog?
We have a size XL
We purchased a reflective leash from pet smart and found that it contained metal pins holding the rope together- it was first stitched just below the clip then metal pins were put through the plastic to hold it together they were 1” long. Very dangerous if dog got this in his mouth and swallowed them. An alternate method should be used-very dangerous
I purchased the Arcaia Trail pet wagon and the bottom keeps popping up. It does not stay 100% in the open position even with the floor in. It is also not large enough to put a cat carrier in. I was hoping the weight would keepthe floor from popping open. I am rather disappointed and will return it..
It should read Arcadia Trail.
