It seems like such a simple thing, but it really makes a huge difference around my house! As soon as the clean dishes come out, we flip it to “dirty”. Once we start the dishwasher, we flip it to “clean”. We no longer have to do a “dish inspection” every time I’m looking for a particular plate, bowl, cup, etc. Great buy! Super useful if you’re constantly hunting for dishes in the dishwasher!

We have one similar and it started to rust behind on our dishwasher. We added four small magnets to the back of the large flat magnet to allow air flow and prevent moister getting trapped. Once we did that it’s been perfect. (Glued rare earth magnets to the other magnet- to keep it toddler friendly).

I cut out a portion of a magnetic tag from advertising mails. Print a black & white “clean/dirty” sign, tape it on the magnetic tag. Flip it to show clean or dirty dishes.
